Frome's pop-up community restaurant is here!

"Why didn't we have something like this before?" is what the people of Frome will (hopefully) be saying in a few days' time, as they're introduced to a community restaurant where you pay what you can for your meal, eat nutritious and locally-sourced food, and share a table with your neighbour, or – as you might prefer – not to.

This project is made possible by the wonderful people within the FFN: Cherry's design, Lyndsey's PR and marketing, Sue's rousing and kind but whip-cracking energy, Caroline's networking and word-spreading, Jess' natural affability, and Catherine and the chefs' willing support of a familiar and wholesome menu.

If you're not among those running it but would like to help, you still can – by coming along and telling us what you think. What worked? What didn't? A community restaurant should be influenced and informed by the community it serves after all.

Once again, Canteen’s first pop-ups are as follows:

Friday 25th October 2024
Friday 15th November 2024
5-8pm
Trinity Hall, Frome BA11 3DE
